If you are planning to spend a long weekend in New York City, there are many ways you can experience the best of the Big Apple. Explore Central Park

This vast city park covers 843 acres and is the perfect place to go for a jog, bike ride or your very own personal walking tour. Notable sections of the park include Bethesda Terrace, Strawberry Fields and the Diana Ross Playground. While exploring the park, you may also come across landmarks like Belvedere Castle, Rat Rock and the Delacorte Theater. If you happen to visit the city during the winter, you can always go ice skating at the park’s famous Wollman Rink, which is an outdoor rink where you can catch great views of the surrounding cityscape while you skate.

Visit the Statue of Liberty

Located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, this iconic statue was given as a gift to the United States from France in 1886 and built by the same man who designed the Eiffel Tower in Paris. You can catch a ferry to reach the statue and take a tour inside the statue up to the observation deck, which is located inside its crown. Some of the best views of New York City’s skyscrapers can be seen from this lofty vantage point.

This charming section of Manhattan is the pride on New York’s Italian community. Restaurants offering a variety of delicious Italian dishes are always eager to welcome hungry patrons.
